Tips for Email Inbox

Three simple tips to de clutter your email delete, respond and file.

Delete anything that is old and outdated that you know you won’t need anymore. Reply to emails that require a response. File away only those emails you may need to refer back to again. You don’t need online retailer’s offers and old coupons and articles. If you haven’t read them by now you probably won’t.

Key to success:

Set up folders- create folders based on categories that make sense according to nature of emails.

Set up filters- set up auto file folder for example coupons and offers.

Once you have it cleared out three ways to maintain and keep it that way. Respond to emails right away saves time of reading the same email again.

Check email twice a day. Emails waste time in and of itself and can cause more emails. You should check email in the morning then respond to emails that require your attention. Then check in the evening to respond to any new concerns.

Set a Daily Target- Some emails may require time to make a decision. So that email doesn’t return back to unmanageable set a daily limit on how many will be left at the end of the day. You may not hit limit everyday but by setting a target and working daily to maintain will help stay organized.

Purse Makeover

Does your purse feel like you are carrying luggage or does it take you forever to find your keys? If so, it is time to organize so you spend less time searching for things instead organization will keep your stress level down and panic attacks.

The first step is taking everything out purse on a table and getting rid of anything you don’t need. Only put back things you really need. Your wallet, keys, phone, pen and personal items like sunglasses and iPod.

Separate the other contents into piles. Place your makeup and lip balm in a pocket. If your purse doesn’t have pockets you can purchase Ziploc bags in different sizes to manage things. Take other personal items and zip away in zipper pockets (inhaler, medication).  The other small items place in zipper pocket located on front of purse if any (headphones or ponytail clip).

Things to remember:

Clean monthly

Most purses have pockets built in

Ziploc for easy viewing

Purse organizer –you can use in similar purses

File your receipts

Throw away unwanted paper
