Out of your comfort zone ? It's ok!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:  

Think outside the box and be willing to allow My Spirit to lead you even when you have to leave your comfort zone to do so.  Be sensitive to your spiritual environment so that you will know when changes occur.  This is a time to awaken spiritually, discern with clarity and respond purposefully, says the Lord.  

 

2 Timothy 1:9  (Jesus) has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. 

First Love

I am calling to those whose hearts are spiritually hungry--those who desire a closer relationship with Me, says the Lord.  Come to Me; come up higher.  Set your face like flint to see My face, not deviating from the way into My presence.  Refuse to allow distractions to take you away from your First Love.  If you truly are in love with Me, you will not stray.  Be single-hearted and single-focused.  

 

Psalm 107:5-9   Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.  Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses.   And He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city for a dwelling place.  Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!   For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness. 

 

According to his Purpose

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS: 

 I hear that word, "amazing", and I hear the Lord saying:  You will be amazed in this next season.  For, I am raising the ground that you walk on, which means that the opportunities that you have will be greater than the opportunities that you have had before to walk on the path of righteousness and anointing as the Spirit leads you.  Those mysteries--those hidden things that have been reserved for you for such a time as this--will come to bear in your life.  Destiny will be fulfilled because you follow the path of My presence.  Be ready to turn to the left or turn to the right as I direct you. And, when I tell you to go straight ahead, stay on that path.  For, it shall be if you stay on the path that I have prepared for you, all things will work to your benefit because you are called according to My purposes, says the Lord.   These are the days in which you need to define who you are.  You need to position yourself before Me with a question in your heart and desire to know what it is that I have prepared for you.  These are the days of the revealing of those things in your life.  Take heart this moment, this day and believe that you will receive that which I have spoken.

 

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

You have a small window of time to make changes that will have an unusual and lasting effect on your life.  Let Me move you by My Spirit into that opening, and I will give you the strength and wisdom necessary to accomplish that which is set before you.  You won't have to force anything, for I will lead you through this transition like threading a needle, says the Lord.  

Isaiah 42:16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them. 

Resist EVIL

Matthew 7:24-27  "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.  But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell.  And great was its fall." Matthew 7:24-27  "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.  But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell.  And great was its fall." 

Distractions.....

Distraction is your enemy.  You must work twice as hard as in any other season to keep your spiritual focus.  Refuse to give in to the noise and the frantic pull of obligations.  Stay quiet and maintain composure.  Do whatever it takes to gain eternal perspective, and separate yourself from everything that steals spiritual life and vitality, says the Lord.  You belong to Me!       

 

2 Peter 1:3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.

Growth Process

Look how far you have come!  The difficulties that you have endured and overcome have instructed you and driven you to find Me in a more meaningful and concrete way.  Your days of trouble are not to be disdained; they are to be recognized as a necessary part of your growth process.  Don't lament, says the Lord.  Rejoice for where you are now and where I will take you from here. 

Psalms 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

 

Joyful Season!

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS: 
Do you feel My expression of joy over you?  If you do, then you know that I have been with you, that I have spoken to you, and I have encouraged you. So, let this moment rest upon you as the mantle of anointing for the season that is ahead.  I would have you embrace this season with joy and faith.  And, I would have you to march forward in triumph because you know that you will win the battles that are necessary.  You will receive your reward in this season.  For, I have chosen this time to demonstrate My love for you by the giving of gifts, says the Lord God Almighty.

 

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Many of those who have been scribes of My prophetic voice have become dull of hearing and are not pressing in to hear My voice or to discern the moving of My Spirit.  Yet, they continue to want to be seen, heard, and recognized as being vessels of honor.  There will be a clear distinction between those who honor Me and give Me glory and those who seek their own glory.  Those who are true seekers in My kingdom will discern truth and error, says the Lord.

Jeremiah 23:26 "How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart."  

Do Right

The forces of darkness are at work to infiltrate every part of the world and world systems.  Your exemption from this corruption is only available by My Spirit,  and you must choose light over darkness and good over evil.  You must take a stand for all that is righteous, regardless of the pressure to choose otherwise, says the Lord.  It will take effort, but you are well able to do right. 
 
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD.

Discernment

Stay in the flow of My Spirit by allowing Me to direct you.  I will lead you by My peace, so you need pay attention as to whether or not your heart is at peace in any situation.  Evaluate by using your discernment to determine the difference between right and wrong; good and evil, and make every effort to stay on the path of righteousness, says the Lord.  I will protect you there. 
 
Hebrews 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Resist the Devil

Pay attention and know that hindering assignments have been sent against you to impede your progress.  Watch for the areas of life where you have lost momentum or have stopped moving forward in spiritual progression.  You will need to resist the forces set against you.  It may take extraordinary work to press through, but it will be worth the effort, says the Lord.  Freedom awaits! 
 
James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Humble

Be sensitive and discerning.  I will show you errors in judgment by revealing presumption, and I will show you errors in logistics.  Correction will be an easy thing as long as you stay in the Spirit and refuse to beat yourself up for not being perfect.  Be humble and stay flexible, says the Lord.  This is no time to take a defensive posture. 

 

Psalms 25:9 The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way.

Choice

Watch out for negative thoughts and feelings, which could undermine not only your faith but righteousness.  It is imperative that you strive to maintain purity of the soul in order to walk in the Spirit.  This is a choice.  When you choose to activate self-control, you will not regret your decision.  Stay focused, and refuse to be distracted with the chaos around you, says the Lord.  Trust Me to help you stay on course. 

 

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.

Spirtual Depth

Many of you have experienced somewhat of a lull, which seems like stagnation. But, this has been a time for you to rest and regroup. It has not been a time for you to get lazy spiritually, however. I want you to be alert and use your discernment so that you have greater depth and understanding of your spiritual environment, says the Lord. Hebrews 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

I belong to HIM

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS: 
The Lord says to many of you:  "You are better than you think you are.  You are a far greater benefit than you think you are.  You have not failed.  For, I am with you and I am guiding you.  You are a blessed one.  You are a royal diadem.  You are a jewel in My hand.  So, you've been through the fire, but the fire is that which makes the jewel strong; it brings forth the beauty of that stone; it releases the power of My kingdom.  So, change your mind today.  Do not believe what has been spoken of you by others or by the evil one, or even by your own reckoning.  Believe in this moment that I know you.  I have not forgotten you.  You belong to Me, and I belong to you.  So, change your countenance and become happy in My kingdom-full of joy, full of blessing, full of that which I have put in you."

One

John 17:20-23   I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Trick or Treat

I'm preparing for my daughter's Halloween party, I found lots of great ideas. 
She's at that age where nothing I pick out is right. I will work on menu items and let her deal with the decorations per my suggestions. Can't wait to see her reaction!

FAITH

Rely on Me, says the Lord, for I am your strength when you feel weak and unable to rise to the occasion.  When you cannot raise yourself up, let Me lift you up.  Nothing is too difficult for Me.  Believe that I will intervene on your behalf and do that which is beyond your human energy or ability to achieve.  Your faith will make it possible. 

 

Mark 11:22 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God."

Moving on

You are indeed entering a new season where old things are coming to a conclusion.  Take time to remember and be grateful for those who have been a help to you along the way, and be ready to move on to the next phase of your life.  This phase will also have challenges to face and victories to win, but you must go forth with courage and faith in order to make the most of it.  I am with you and for you, says the Lord. 

Isaiah 42:9  Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Loving Futuristic looks

Let's change it up! As I started thinking about remodeling my bathrooms I began looking for ways to change the whole game up. I found a few pieces I would love to have, from bathroom floor tub, led faucets, bowl sinks and shower heads etc.

Inexpensive Mirror Frame

 

Things needed 

 

1. 4x4 pieces of wood or MDF (handles like wood and reasonably priced)

2. Piece of crown molding

3. Take measurements of mirror and cut wood or MDF to fit and attach the crown molding with nails and glue.

 

4. Paint the frame and sand mirror.    

 

It's ready to hang!

 

 

What is done is done; what is past is past

You are entering a season of recovery--a time when you will have opportunities to recover all that has been lost.  You must not dwell on your losses, but have faith in this new beginning.  For, I tell you honestly, that what is done is done; what is past is past.  You can do nothing to change what has been; you can make the most of the days ahead by allowing My Spirit to be your Guide, says the Lord.  Put your trust in Me.

Directed Steps

In a vision I saw a man navigating a mine field.  Every step was calculated and deliberate as he searched the landscape for even the slightest or most subtle signs of danger.  His senses were heightened so that nothing could escape his attention.  I watched as he was able to follow the invisible path through difficult terrain.  And, I heard the Lord say:  Even though you are making your way through what seems to be ominous circumstances, I am with you to direct every step and bring you through to victory.  Do not be afraid. 

 

Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Spiritual Desert

Position yourself for a new beginning that will follow the changes over the last months that have brought you to a place of order and in alignment with My plans and purposes.  Yield at this time to the moving of My Spirit as I bring you out of a spiritual desert.  And, trust Me with your life, your purpose and destiny, says the Lord.  You are embarking on a new day! 
 
Psalms 118:24 This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

FOCUS

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

In these times of stress and uncertainty, it is imperative that your faith be  strong and your focus intact.  You must rely on Me when things seem to be out of your control, says the Lord.  Nothing is impossible with Me, and you can do all that is necessary when you put your trust in Me.  Be steadfast!  Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Garage Tip

Use bungee cords to corral balls in the garage. Another idea would be to use a similar concept with a section of a book shelf to store stuffed animals or other toys in the playroom.

 

2 Timothy 3:1-5

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS:
The Lord would have me ask you, what is it that you see right now? Do you see the glory of the kingdom? Have you seen this change in the atmosphere that you live in? Do you see and understand that I have something for you that is of great importance in this time? Do you see that I am bringing My church to a place of glory and I am washing her with My word? I am pouring out the living waters upon her. It is My desire to bring you, My people, ever higher and cause you to be such as has not been seen before. For, these things are written about My church as they live in the end of the age. So, now it is time for Me to do that final work. Will you perceive it? Will you see it? Will you understand it? Or, will you, once again, just let it flow by? Will you miss the opportunities or will you take advantage of them? The choice is yours. But, I say, arise this very day with a new understanding of the times and the seasons you live in and begin to perceive My presence, My works, and My signs. Says the Lord, Most Holy.

In a vision I saw people sitting on a very long fence that reminded me of how blackbirds sit on a power line.  Being on the fence represents trying to be in the world and in the kingdom of God, but not actually living in either place.  And, I heard the Lord say:  Now is the time to make solid and sound decisions about your dedication and commitment to Me.  The times you live in will require you to make a serious and lasting choice.  
2 Timothy 3:1-5  But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:  For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

God's Direction

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:
Beloved, stay on track.  Don't let anything derail you from your focus on things that really matter--things of eternal value and importance.  The enemy will do all he can to cause confusion, condemnation, and distraction.  It is up to you to resist the attacks of the enemy, keep your thoughts under the rule of My Spirit and to control your emotional impulses and responses.  Then, trust Me to give you wisdom and direction in all things, says the Lord.  I am for you! 

 

Psalms 119:133 Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.

Nothing Hidden

Mark 4:22 "For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light."

You are in a time of revelation for the purpose of bringing everything into the light and leaving nothing hidden in darkness.  This will be experienced on every level, but it will begin with your own soul as you have opportunities to do an internal work that creates a cleansing, empowering flow within.  Release yourself completely to this work; it will be of great benefit to you and those around you, says the Lord.

Spiritual Depth

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS: 
I heard this phrase by the Spirit.  "Deep calls to deep."  And, I could feel and know that the Spirit of the Lord is expanding our spiritual borders--deeper and higher.  He is deepening our hearts' capacity to love Him, to receive Him, and to live in Him.  He is taking us higher in our ability to see, discern, know and understand His will and purposes.  This is a supernatural work beyond the flesh or anything we can accomplish in and of ourselves.  He will cause our own spirits to resonate in harmony with His Spirit, producing life, liberty and clarity. 
 
Psalms 42:7-8 Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and billows have gone over me.  The LORD will command His loving kindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me-a prayer to the God of my life.

Connnected 2 God 4 Destiny

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS:

Come now, My people, and enter your chambers until My indignation passes you by.  For, when My judgments come upon the earth, they were not designed for you, they were not yours to be received.  You are My chosen ones, My glorious ones, and I have revealed that to your heart in these past few weeks.  And, now you know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the God that you serve, which God I am, loves you and cares for you, cherishes you, equips you, and empowers you so that you may fulfill your destiny in the end of the age.  So, come into your chambers; come into the hiding place; come into the place of anointing; come into the place where My word runs like a river.  Come quickly and eat the hidden manna I have provided for you.  Freely I have given freely receive.  Come now.  Come to Me as you continue to look up, says the Lord.

This time of transition and turmoil has caused you to experience the feeling of being disconnected.  That does not mean that you are actually disconnected, but rather that this new spiritual territory is unfamiliar.  You are not yet comfortable, but you will settle in and continue to gain and maintain a level of ease.  You will have more opportunities to grow and gain revelation through your experiences, but it will be much less chaotic, says the Lord.  Draw close and stay connected to Me.  Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
 

No Weapon Formed Against Shall Prosper

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS: 

The power of righteousness will be your best weapon against the enemy.  Take your position in faith and resist him without wavering.  Stand strong.  Be resolute.  Do not be afraid.  Know, My beloved, that I am for you and with you and that no weapon of any kind can be successful against you when you are established in right standing with Me, says the Lord.  Stay close.  Stay connected.

Shaken

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

You already know that everything that could be shaken has been shaken.  This has been necessary to bring you into divine and lasting order.  Now, you are in the beginning of a healing process where the things that remain will be strengthened.  Cooperate with this process as you let go of the things that weaken you spiritually and that do not bring a strengthening quality to your life both spiritually and naturally.  Whatever does not make you stronger is likely to make you weaker.  There are decisions you must make with regard to letting go of those things that suck the life out of you, says the Lord. 

 

Hebrews 12:27 Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Wounded

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

In a vision I saw three different people with an open wound in the area of the heart.  They were told that they had to sew their wounds up in order to stop the bleeding.  The first person knitted a covering for the wound, but it was still bleeding underneath.  The second person's stitches were too loose and had to be tightened up to stop the bleeding.  The third person was trying to figure out some kind elaborate cross-stitch instead of just closing the wound.  I believe the vision is about wounding in the soul and spirit.  The first person represents those in denial about the seriousness of the wound and just try to cover it up.  The next person represents those who have the right spiritual concept, but they still have some work to do before healing begins.  The last person represents those who are focused on doing a great job in the flesh to gain approval instead of doing by the Spirit what needs to be done.   And the Lord says, "Release and forgive completely those who have wounded you, and then trust Me to bring healing and restoration." 

 

Exodus 15:26 and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."

Clean Heart

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Beloved, examine the motivation behind your commitments.  My desire is that when you commit it will be motivated by your love for Me, says the Lord, and not by your need for approval or position.  I would have you come into the secret place before Me with a pure heart and righteous dedication.  Refuse to allow the enemy to establish selfish ambition or corruption in your reasoning and subsequent actions. 
 
Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Will Myself Lord

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS:

I hear the Lord saying, will yourself to Me. Will yourself to me! That would mean you have given yourself to Me. It would mean that I have responsibility for you--to empower by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. So, make that decision in your soul. The power of free will choice and say, "I will Myself into the hand of God this moment. I will myself under the provision of His kingdom, the blessings of His kingdom, the power of His kingdom. I will myself to become an overcomer; to be steadfast. To be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I make the choice to establish myself by the power of my will to be what He wants me to be in these days." And, if you will do so, I will be with you and I will perform My word over you, around you and through you, says the Lord. Be wise. Don't be deceived. Come to Me, and I will equip you and prepare you for the perilous times that you live in and the days of evil that are before you. For, I am the Most Holy One; the One who is able to keep you on the path of righteousness; to keep you in the power of My kingdom by which you overcome all the works of the enemy. Just become one with Me, says the Lord. I've kept you for such a time as this; to be used in this time. I will establish you in a position of righteousness, strength and power, so that you may fulfill your destiny, says the Lord God Almighty.

 
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:
You are going to find yourself feeling the final crunch of things that are coming into perfect order before you can move on, some of which will be somewhat unexpected.  But, you will know that you are in the flow of My Spirit when these things are not initiated by you.  You will be able to see divine intervention, mercy and grace as I give you wisdom in many areas of your life.  Trust Me, says the Lord.  Acts 17:29 "Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man's devising."

Rest in Faith

When you have done your best, and it doesn't seem to be enough, rest!  After you have done all you can do, then stand in faith that God will bring this process to completion.  God will do what you cannot do, says the Lord, but you must trust Me.  There will always be things that are beyond your scope and ability to perform--where only time and grace will bring you through. 

 

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Order

Now is the time to begin to settle into the changes that have brought order.  You are being positioned for maximum strength and effectiveness both in the natural realm and in the spirit.  What seems like LOSS was simply DROSS, for you are being purified on every level.  And, you will begin to realize the power and anointing that comes with greater purity, says the Lord.  Stay the course!

 

Daniel 12:10 "Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand."

 

 

Called

God has called us to be a beacon for those who sit in darkness so they can catch a glimpse of what it is like to be in the light. God wants us to be an example of the Kingdom Dwellers so that others may come in. This is going to require discipline to make sure that darkness has no place in you, says the Lord. This is the time when you can rise up and take your rightful position as a witness of My love.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

Give up

Anyone can give up, it's easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength! "When life knocks you down try to land on your back . Because if you can look up, you can get up." -Les Brown

JOY

Weeping may endure through the night,

Life isn’t always sunshine and butterflies.

THANKFUL

So Thankful that I have had a personal relationship with God since I was a kid. He revealed my purpose in my family's life and how it would play out in my future. So Thankful because it gave me the courage I needed to be here in this moment. So Thankful I had a mother and father that introduced me to my best friend, Jesus. It has changed my life. I have not always done things right and have made mistakes but God has never left my side and continues to direct my steps. So Thankful for God's mercy, patience and understanding. So Thankful that I know Christ Jesus for myself. I am Forever Grateful....

Let Go & Soar

Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you will go, just remember how far you have come. Remember everything you've faced. All the battles you have won. All the fears you've overcome. All the chapters you have written. Remember the moments that came before when you had this same doubt and overcame it. You can go as far as you let yourself go. Let go and you will soar farther than you've ever imagined.

 

 

This Season

GOD is bringing forth His work--His order out of the chaos that Satan is creating in the world. "Everything is being done in My order and by My design. Our part is to sow seeds that will produce the desired harvest. Now is the time to consider what you sow into your life and into the lives of others. Will your harvest be sweet or bitter?? You get to choose.

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Hang Baskets

Do you have enough space for all your miscellaneous items? Use hanging baskets so that everything has a home. Great tips found on www.pinterest.com!

Hang baskets on curtain rods to take advantage of unused wall space. The baskets can be attached with zip ties or  S-hooks (I think that's the proper name for them). This is a perfect idea for storing extra hand towels in the bathroom, organizing kids' toys, keeping craft items together, or even storing items in the garage.

Organize Your Kids Stuff For School

Tip - Flip Flops



Now that summer is about to end, let's put the flops up!
 

Use wire hangers to organize your shoes and keep them off the floor. Just bend the hangers like the ones in the photo above and decorate with paper or fabric.

I love this idea! 

These shoe organizers are great for ANY door or cabinet. You can hang them in the laundry room for cleaning supplies or the kids bedroom to organize toys. Also perfect in the craft room for yarn, fabric, or other craft items. You could even hang one inside your shower to store bath supplies (just make sure there is a way for water to drain out of the pockets).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Back to school - Tip #2

Using a few simple crafting pieces and an over the door hanger with hooks for everyday of the week.

You can buy these thin pieces of wood at Hobby Lobby (4 to a package) and then used my crop-o-dile to punch a larger hole to thread the twine through.

Then use scrapbook paper that matches child's room to cover the wood label. Use mod podge to adhere the paper, but as you know sometimes you can get a few bubbles. Use a little roller to roll over the paper to smooth out any little air bubbles. It works perfectly.

Use stickers to mark the days of the week on each label.

Punch a hole through the paper in the same place as the label hole and added twine so it could be attached to the door hanger.

Once the labels are tied on kids can pick out their own clothes for the whole week. They can also add accessories like belts, necklaces or scarves to the top hook to go with each outfit.

This is another system you can use. Buy these hooks in the hardware area. You can hang 2 options of clothes on the hooks. That way they can have a part in deciding what they wear but you know it’s appropriate for school. Just add another outfit before bedtime for the next day so they always have 2 options.
